I’m a Mom of 4 independent children. My kids are responsible teenagers and college students now. I am only 47. I married young and homeschooled my children. I am now looking to help out other families part time. Children are a joy not a job to me.
I have worked with kids of all ages. I hope to be an asset to your home.
I am gentle, patient, well aware of my surroundings, can multi task and I don’t get overwhelmed when it comes to children.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have Interned at DayCares during my teenage years along with Nanny positions. I was a Sunday School teacher for over 10 years. I have 2 children with ADD and ADHD So I understand how to be patient with many different learning techniques.
In addition to all this, I'm a Mom of 4. All independent adults, or teens.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing activities that will bring a balance to incorporate developemental skills & physical activity. For example, play outside with bubbles for hand coordination skills and running just simple fun! Walking and collecting pine ones then painting them.
Playdough & Kinetic sand and so engaging!
Reading and drawing what their favorite part of a themed activity was.
I LOVE arts & crafts!! I love to incorporate daily fun with a craft, or baking. This is just to name a few.

My 2 kids that have ADD and ADHD. Where each child is still very individual, I know how sensitive to implement any plan is.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment is in the morning when I would arrive and their faces were at the window waiting for me. It humbled me every time. Children make you feel so special.
