I have extensive paid experience caring for children and families, beginning professionally at age 18. For the past three years, I have worked as a full-time nanny for twin toddlers, providing daily care, supervision, transportation, developmental activities, meals, routines, and emotional support. I have also worked as a preschool director, where I was responsible for the care and supervision of young children while supporting staff and communicating with families. My previous nanny experience includes caring for infants and children ranging from toddlers through school age. These experiences have taught me patience, consistency, communication, safety awareness, and how to adapt my approach to each child’s individual developmental and emotional needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is building a trusting relationship with the child and family. Children need to feel safe, cared for, respected, and comfortable being themselves. I believe a great nanny does more than simply supervise children; they become someone the child can rely on, learn from, and feel secure with. It is also important to understand each child as an individual, recognize their needs and personality, and provide consistent care while encouraging their independence and development. Building a strong partnership with the parents is equally important so everyone feels supported and confident in the care being provided.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Taking a child to gymnastics and he was very shy and did not want to participate at first. I was there to encourage him and he ended up loving it and looking forward to Gymboree day!
