Hi, I’m Giselle Soto Calderon, a first-generation, Chicana, second-year student at Uc Berkeley. I intend to major in Business Administration. I currently serve as a Pathways Coach volunteer for Stiles Hall, where I mentor minority middle schoolers in pursuing higher education and breaking social barriers. Since then, my concert improved test scores by 38%. It’s also a good time for students to build community, I serve as an academic affairs intern at the Latinx Business Student Association. I create and navigate scholarship workshops for high schools., I am the Co-founder and Vice President of Outreach for a non-profit organization here on campus called Elder Welfare Mentorship. The goal of this organization is to teach the elderly how to perform technology skills. I helped create tech workshops in centers in a speed dating format.
