I worked for an after school program for about a year and a half for both elementary and middle schools. Most recently, I worked with kids ranging mostly from 1-8years old, for over 2 years.

I enjoy reenacting games I watch on a cartoon show w my toddler niece. (For example, we might see a game Bluey made up with Bingo and we’ll play whatever game they’re playing in the show) I love doing anything crafty, but mostly being away from so much screen time and using more tactile forms of stimulation for activities.
My experience with special needs children...
I’ve worked with kids with Down Syndrome, Autism on various different ranges on the spectrum. I understand every child comes with their own triggers/preferences, but more than anything I understand we as the caregivers are learning at the same time the child and parents are.
