More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have babysat in the past for numerous families, and still do for my cousins sometimes. I have also done volunteer work for a summer camp for children at a horse ranch and had worked at a daycare center for 4 years
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to go on walks, going to parks, taking them to get lunch or ice cream, going to zoos, going to mall of America or malls, I like to do crafts with them, read books, play games, watch movies, have them help me decorate cookies or cupcakes etc. when it’s time to clean up I like to tell the kids that we are gonna play a game to see who can clean up the fastest. So I’ll assign them each a room, or a spot to clean up and I’ll start a timer, and I’ll also cleanup with them. Whoever cleans up the fastest gets to pick something they want to do, like pick a place to eat at, or pick where we’ll go for the day, etc. My main goal is to put a smile on children’s faces and have them share what they did with mom and dad when they come home :)
The most important part about being a nanny...
Making sure that kids have fun, know that that I (the nanny) is always there for them, patient and understanding, helping the children out whether it be homework or learning how to tie their shoes :) and creating a safe but fun environment. I also believe that discipline is important so that you can teach kids that some actions have consequences. I also believe that interacting with kids is very important, like swimming with them, making a craft, coloring with them, etc. Overall for me, I believe that putting a smile on a child’s face, making sure they have fun, and being someone they can trust/talk to is extremely important.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My cousin asked Me to watch her 3 children, and one of her little boys who is 2, has special needs, and she told me that they used to have a babysitter but they had to fire her, because her son didn’t like her and cried the whole time she was there. So I gave it a shot and the first day I was babysitting the kids, I managed to make the little boy laugh and play with the rest of us. When she got home, I was holding the boy who was all giggly and smiley, and both her and her husband looked at each other and said “She’s a keeper”. She told me that her little boy is very picky with who he lets hold him, and who he plays with. She told me that not even our grandma was able to hold him without him crying. I felt very special at that moment and I was so happy that I could be the one who made that little boy laugh and smile.

Full-Time Nanny Available in Ramsey, MN: Reagan R.
Hi families! My name is Reagan and I’m looking for a nanny position this summer. I have a lot of experience working with kids of all ages. I’ve spent over a year as an infant teacher at a daycare, so I’m very comfortable with feeding, diapering, nap routines, and keeping little ones engaged in a safe and nurturing environment.
I’ve also worked as a hockey coach and mentor, which has helped me build strong leadership, patience, and communication skills. I love planning fun, active activities, helping kids learn new things, and being a positive role model. On top of that, I’ve grown up helping care for younger cousins, so being around kids has always been a big part of my life.
I’m reliable, responsible, and genuinely enjoy building connections with the families I work with. I love watching kids grow and being someone they can feel safe and happy around.
Feel free to reach out if you think I’d be a good fit for your family!
