A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Grace Constantin and I am a college student looking for something that’s part time, and I also happen to love kids. So it works out perfectly! I’m going to college to get my degree in Psychology, my goal is to be a Child Psychologist. If you can’t tell, I love kids. I do not currently have my CPR or First AID certification, but am in the process of getting them. I also love animals, so if you have pets, it’s not an issue at all! I have a dog and cat myself, they’re very spoiled. Cleaning is something that I enjoy doing when I’m bored, if that says anything. It helps keep the space organized and smelling good. I wouldn’t mind doing a little tidying and light cleaning, I’d probably have fun! I am currently employed at an ER and Hospital, where I work as a Patient Access Representative. The ER setting isn’t necessarily one that I believe I fit in. So, I wanted to switch it up and see how babysitting/nannying would go again! :)

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I haven’t worked in an official business or company with children before, but most of my friends have young children around 1-3 years old that I’m around a lot. I also have a 1 year old niece and an almost 6 year old niece, and I’ve babysat them quite a few times. My current boss also has kids who I’ve babysat a few times as well.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I absolutely love arts and crafts, I’d be willing to bring stuff to make or draw on, if your kid(s) are into that sort of stuff. Being outside is something I find very fun, it can also be relaxing. So if they like being outside, I definitely have zero issues with that. Even if they’re on the more quiet side and just like to hangout and watch movies or what have you, I will have no complaints.

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me, the most important part about child care, is being flexible and patient. It’s about learning and coming up with quick responses, multitasking is essential. Being patient can help keep you and the kid calm, why freak out if they freak out? It would only cause more panic and a bigger situation than there was beforehand.
