More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I worked at a daycare for 2 years, working with mostly 0-2yo some with 3-5! I also babysat my cousins from ages 3-12 for 5 years!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing arts and crafts with them and playing safe outdoor games that they would enjoy! I'm also very imaginative, so if they want to chase a 30ft dino as knights then I will hold my "sword" high and chase it with them! I also love teaching the alphabet and song movements, as well as, sign language!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Showing kids love and making sure they know that they are in a caring environment at all times! Also, by just being their friend and listening to their needs as well as the parents!
My experience with special needs children...
While working as a children's director, I was blessed to work with high, medium, and lower spectrum autistic children, as well as, those with ADHD/ ADD. A few children had PTSD, anxiety, and depression. They were always my favorite, so loving and always ready to learn/ play!
The most important part about being a nanny...
One child I was a nanny for loved watching Paw Patrol, the number one thing that warmed my heart was watching him engage with the show and tell me things about it and how they will solve the problem! The cutest little thing was when he screamed "UH OH!" when something happened! Also when he would fall asleep on me while we watched it! SOOO CUTE!!!!
