I have experience nannying and babysitting for various age groups ranging from 2-14, teaching dance to 7 and 8 year olds, and real hands-on experience teaching in the classroom with children ranging in age and development from 1st all the way to 7th grade.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
If the parents are comfortable, I love taking kids to the park and library, and engaging in hands-on play. If they have a backyard, that is also a great option. In the warmer months, I focus on engaging indoor play and perhaps the library. For older children, I will also assist with homework if needed.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important thing about nannying is keeping the child safe, and helping the parents raise them to be the absolute best versions of themselves. It is also crucial to let the kids simply be kids. Play, (especially outdoors,) laughter, good food, love, and appropriate discipline goes a long way.
My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with children with special needs frequently in the classroom, and enjoy caring for them. It is very fulfilling and brings me a great deal of joy.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment would have to be seeing them giggle uncontrollably at something I’ve said or done! Learning kid’s sense of humor is always something I love.
