More About Me

I was a 2nd grade teacher aide and specialized reading and language skills teacher, and I also helped with an after-school program where I worked with kids who needed extra help with homework. I’m very comfortable working with children and helping them learn, stay on task, and feel supported.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy doing just about anything with kids! Some of my favorites are going to the park, doing arts and crafts, baking yummy snacks, and helping with schoolwork. I’m also always open to new activities and love following the kids’ interests and doing things they enjoy.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny to me is being a safe and caring person your kids are excited to see and spend time with. I also love being able to teach them everyday things, encourage them, and help them learn while still making our time together fun.
My experience with special needs children...
I was a peer tutor throughout high school, where I worked with teenagers with a variety of special needs. I also have two younger siblings with high-functioning ADHD, so I have a lot of personal experience being patient, flexible, and understanding different needs. I’m very open to caring for kiddos with special needs and learning the best ways to support each child individually.
