Growing up I nannied for my 3 younger cousins consistently and got plenty of experience. Then when I started college I began working at a children’s hospital and worked bedside as a nurses assistant with behavioral children ranging from 2y-20y along with 7 months experience in the NICU. And currently work in a pre-k/kindergarten school as a teaching assistant. I nanny during the summer months and on the weekends.

Going to the botanical gardens, the zoo, the beach, coffee shops, lunch dates, and play dates with other local nannies.

My experience with special needs children...
I worked as a nursing assistant at Cincinnati Children’s for 2 years and had the privilege of caring for children on the autism spectrum, children with Down’s syndrome, and children with mental illnesses. I took a course on behavioral intervention and learned the steps to do deescalate a behavioral event and I feel confident in those skills.
