I have been babysitting since I was around 9 years old, and have references if you want! One thing is that for the past 5 years my best friend have run a kids camp every summer, to earn money. We would normally have around 18 - 30 kids every week from all age groups! I also took multiple child development classes in High School and have certifications from those classes! I am also in nursery for my church class.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love all kinds of activities, but I think I prefer outdoor activities more. I think it's really important for kids to be able to play outdoors. Some of my favorite memories as a child were outside. I also love to do arts and crafts with children as well!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important part of being a nanny is just to have a strong bond with the kids, so that they trust you and you can build a relationship. I think it's so important to have that strong relationship with the kids so that they trust you, and you can become the best nanny for them as you can.
My experience with special needs children...
I haven't had a ton of experience, but for 2 years in high school, I was a peer tutor for a special needs class at my school. I think that class has taught me a lot and helped me get a lot more experience.
