I started helping out in the infant room at my church daycare when I was eleven. That's how I began babysitting, I baby sat for one of the families from church for a few years before they moved away. I currently work at a childcare center as an Infant teacher. I am an aid but am also Assistant Teacher qualified
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy bringing the kids out to different activities, in the past I've brought some of my babysitter kids to the science museum, history museum, and indoor/outdoor play areas. I'm open to any activity ideas you have!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe the most important part about being a nanny is making sure the kids are safe. Knowing CPR and First Aid is important to me because I like having that layer of knowledge that I know how to help in an emergency. It's also very important that they're learning. Kids' minds are like sponges and they act how we act, they react to everything we do around them whether we realize it or not. Teaching is something I have always been passionate about. Coming up with different activities packed with different skills to learn is rewarding. It's nice to see that you helped them learn.
