A little bit about me

I’m a 24 year old girl who loves fashion, teaching, and wellness. I am a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology in the heart of Chelsea, Manhattan, and I’m currently in the process of becoming a Teaching Assistant at a middle school. I’ll be finished with my school day by 3 PM each weekday, so I’m looking for a part-time babysitting position from approximately 3–6 PM on weekdays.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I also have previous childcare experience through volunteering with a nonprofit organization affiliated with Ronald McDonald House. I worked at a daycare center where I helped care for children and prepared meals for both the children and their families. This experience taught me the importance of being patient, attentive, and nurturing while creating a safe and welcoming environment for children.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to paint and do puzzles. I have always had a passion for baking and cooking as well and always find it a fun activity to do with my nieces and nephews!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is making sure the kids feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while still having fun! I think it’s important to be someone they can trust, but also someone they’re genuinely excited to spend time with. ◡̈

My experience with special needs children...

During high school, I volunteered with programs supporting children with special needs, where I enjoyed spending time with and assisting the children. I also participated in a school fundraising initiative where we baked and sold brownies to our grade. These experiences helped me develop patience, compassion, teamwork, and a genuine love for working with children.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments was when a child very confidently told me that they were “the boss” and proceeded to give me a full list of things I was allowed and NOT allowed to do. Needless to say, I learned very quickly who was actually in charge
