Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to do arts and crafts, from paint and pens to clay and beads! I have been cooking for almost my whole life and I love to get kiddos involved with basic cooking or baking, it’s good and practical teaching. I think time outside and time spent reading is important and I try to keep that front forward in every visit, so I make many trips to the local libraries. I enjoy visiting new parks and exploring different parts of creation, especially the bugs and birds that we come across. I am extremely interactive and keep busy in a day of activities.

I think the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe and supportive environment where children feel comfortable being themselves while having opportunities to learn, explore, and grow. I love being able to engage with them through activities, encourage their interests, and help them develop confidence and independence while making sure they feel cared for and understood.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience working with children on the autism spectrum, kiddos who are nonverbal and those who have big emotions. I have learned the great skill of patience and problem solving, quick to redirect and help provide a healthy environment to feel and work though roadblocks.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love when i can tell that i’ve made sure that my kids know I am a safe and neutral person they can talk to or ask me questions as they’re learning and growing. I make it a priority on my end that they know I will help them learn and be honest with them. It’s important to me to provide safety and comfort when caring for little ones.
