When I was 16 I nannied for a little girl for 6 months until Covid hit and then had to stop. Before nannying at 16 I always watched my cousins and loved caring for them. I also have a one year old nephew who I’ve babysat occasionally since he was a newborn. I was a floater at a school for about 6 months, meaning I was put into different rooms everyday. I was with children between the ages of infants and kindergarten. Then I became a lead teacher for 2.5 year olds for a year and a half.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy coloring, learning the alphabet and colors and numbers with the kids. I always use lots of educational toys like puzzles, colored blocks etc. Outside play is always very important as well. At the school I worked at we had outside play in the morning and the afternoon for about 45 minutes at a time. I enjoy reading to children and with children.
