My experience with special needs children...

Worked 2 years with family with special needs son. He was 7 when I begin working with him. Diagnoses include: gastrointestinal malformations (he had a g-tube used for tube feeding and medications, cecostomy tube for bowel irrigations, AFOs on bilateral lower extremities, autism (non-verbal, used iPad for communication and non/verbal cues), anxiety disorder.
