It is also important to me that the child learns or improves certain skills. For example, reading, walking, vocabulary, holding a spoon, expressing emotions, etc.

I attended the Special Olympics for kids. I watched and helped them get lunch and play their sports. I was their personal cheerleader and created strong connections with them.
