I taught swim lessons for 4 years to kids ages 3-10, I coached kids ages 5-12 on a swim team for 3 years, I worked at an after school program for kids ages 7-14 for a year, and I was a lifeguard for 4 years.
I also grew up babysitting and also was a nanny for a 10 month old for 5 months!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy doing activities with kids that get both sides of their brains moving! I like to have kids participate in arts and crafts, card and board games, word searches, and reading. I also like to get kids outdoors through chalk art, going on walks and hikes, playing in the park, and going on scavenger hunts.
My experience with special needs children...
I was part of a program in high school where I was paired up with a special needs student my age and was their buddy! This program was called “peer to peer” and we would spend time both in and outside of the classroom doing activities with our buddies. Some of those activities included arts and crafts, going swimming, hiking, going to the zoo, and more!
