More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I am the aunt of three young girls; I have helped care for several of them over prolonged periods of time with and without their parents’ aid when needed. One niece in particular I watched for multiple times a week for full eight hour days when she was a new born and until she was old enough to go to preschool. I have also Nannied three babies, one newborn boy, one three month old girl and one little girl who was one year old alongside the childrens’ grandmother for a few months. I have also provided childcare to a family with four children ages one, four, five, and ten for several years as they grew up. Another experience I have had has been babysitting for several family friends and neighbors with toddlers and elementary aged children.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing creative enrichment and learning activities with children. I try to minimize screen time as much as possible (if possible none is given at all unless the children are already accustomed to it) so I try to set up creative activities for older children such as painting or playing with clay and for younger children safe musical activities and sensory activities.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny to me is the safety of the children I care for and their continued learning and educational milestones and brain development as well as creativity being nurtured.
My experience with special needs children...
I have some experience with children on the spectrum and with attention hyper deficit disorder as well as extensive knowledge of managing different autistic children and their sensory and communication needs and differences when it comes to shut downs, meltdowns, selective mutism, and special interests among other things.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny Moment was when a young child I used to care for got extremely excited to see that I was going to be watching her that day!

Babysitter Available in Spring, TX: Rian T.
I'm a 20 year old college student looking to find a job that allows me to care for children. I was a violin teacher for a year at an elementary school where I taught children from 3rd to 5th grade. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of being a safe space for my students and teaching them about new things. I'm hoping I will be able to show these children the love I was able to show my students as I gain more experience in this field.

Making kids laugh with never before seen stupor and whimsy. I work at a kids toy store in a corporate position and want to kill some extra time on days off (so I don't spend it playing copious amounts of video games.) In all seriousness, proper child care, specifically on the emotional scale, is very important to me coming from an unstable home environment. Ensuring kids just get to be kids for as long as possible is my main priority.
