When I was younger, like 4th grade, I would always ask to take my time out of the day to read to the little kids that were in Kindergarten. This was when I found out that I loved to be with kids. I know this doesn't say much, but I honestly really hope to be a good influence on your kids.

The most important part is when you get told that you are an inspiration to the children. It makes you sit and think that you really did something great. In which, you did.
My experience with special needs children...
When I was a nanny for the two boys I was working with, one of them had Autism and the other had really bad ADHD. Their mother had to work a lot and so I just knew what to do for them. I grew up with ADHD and I know how it feels to have a parent that was gone for a bit. It didn't stop me, seeing as my older siblings would take care of me. I knew that it would be great to take what they taught me and put it to good use.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe it was when they decided to taste a bit of my home cooking. Their faces lit up as if it was the best thing they tasted. I can never get the smiling faces out of my head. I really enjoy cooking for people, young or old.
