I have been babysitting family and family friends children since I was 13 years old. I have also worked as a lead teacher of the 2 year old class and new borns for 2 years.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to create crafts that work the children’s gross motor skills and incorporating any holidays/ events coming up for them to relate too and have fun. I also love circle time after breakfast, to go over our numbers, alphabets and colors! I have lots of energy and love to get the children moving and to get as much sun and exercise as possible!
My experience with special needs children...
My experience with special needs children is not a great amount, but I have had quite a few children in my classroom who need that extra love and attention. To teach them new things and seeing the smile on there face when they understand the lessons brighten ups my day! My one on one time with them is more than learning, but creating a trusting and loving relationship!
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moments are when a trusting and loving relationship is made between myself and the child. I love knowing the children can trust me and can come to me for any situation and when they need a little bit of comforting when they’re sad
