I grew up helping with my nieces (ages 7 and 5) as well as I worked at Aqua Kids swim school in the DFW area for a year working as a instructor and coach for children ages 4 months - 15 years.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love anything artistic, whether that's coloring, drawing, painting or anything else, I typically try to steer away from from using technology, but of course I love a good movie to help calm down. I also enjoy going on walks or playing outsides!
My experience with special needs children...
My mom was a Special Education Teacher throughout my childhood so children with learning disabilities will always have a special place in my heart. I worked with children with autism and Down's Syndrome during my time at Aqua Kids Swim School. In addition, I also was a peer worker throughout high school.
