A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Han and I’m currently seeking a position as a nanny in and outside of the perimeter. Working with others has always been a passion of mine, especially working with children! I grew up babysitting my brother and helping my cousin care for her first child -- changing diapers, bottle feeding, entertaining baby while mom slept. In the past 7 months I have helped care for my newborn niece and assisted in the transitionary period of parenthood. Previously, I worked as a mentor at a mental health residential treatment program in Asheville, NC. While this was not technically nannying, I spent 10-14 hour shifts with my clients and supported them in every way possible -- from assisting with cooking, building communication skills, engaging in activities.
In short: I want to put my skills to use and assist a family as they take care of themselves, whether it be through big or small transitions.
