My background with children includes a range of hands-on caregiving, direct instruction, and structured support. From 2021 to 2022, I served as a full-time nanny for a family with three young children (ages 1, 3, and 5), where I managed daily routines, meal prep, nap schedules, and creative, age-appropriate activities. Most recently, I worked for six months as an after-school program instructor, facilitating engaging group projects, helping with homework, and supporting classroom behavior with positive reinforcement. Prior to these roles, I gained extensive experience babysitting children of all ages, consistently focusing on emotional support, safety, and creating a fun, encouraging environment.

I love screen-free, engaging activities that meet kids right where they are! I’m passionate about anything creative and artsy—from drawing and painting to fun crafts and sensory play. I enjoy playing with toys, reading interactive stories, and heading outdoors to explore local parks, go on walks, or take simple hikes. I also really enjoy helping with homework by turning study time into a positive, supportive experience where kids feel confident, capable, and genuinely encouraged.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part of being a nanny is building a foundation of emotional safety, trust, and consistency. When a child feels truly safe, heard, and supported by a calm, patient adult, everything else falls into place naturally whether that is navigating daily routines, trying new creative activities, or learning how to process big emotions. My goal as a nanny is always to be a steady, encouraging presence that helps children build confidence, feel valued for who they are, and know that they have someone in their corner.
My experience with special needs children...
My approach to special needs care is grounded in my B.S. in Psychology and my formal training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Through my coursework and training, I have a strong foundation in positive reinforcement, emotional regulation strategies, and supporting routines for neurodivergent children. I bring a patient, empathetic, and calm energy to every interaction. I focus on meeting children where they are, honoring their individual processing styles, and providing a safe, supportive environment.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moments are the quiet ones where a child shows that they feel completely safe, understood, and comfortable around me. Back when I worked as an after school instructor, there was a young girl who formed a really sweet attachment to me. Every time she saw me, her face would light up, and she'd immediately come over to share what she was working on. Knowing that my calm, encouraging presence creates a space where kids feel genuinely safe, happy, and supported is the most rewarding part of caregiving to me.
