I worked full-time at a Goddard School as a co-teacher in a 8-18 month old classroom for a year and am just now transitioning out of a full-time nanny position I had for a child (2.5 months-14 mo).
I absolutely love and thrive being able to work one-on-one or in smaller groups with kids to better help them grow and meet developmental milestones.

I babysat since 8th grade and grew up with five younger siblings.
Volunteered in a church nursery for about six years & VBS.
Attended a year of college where I completed a class on Child development and in-person observations in a Montessori school. Learned about Montessori which is hands on, creative learning for kids.
Have babysat for multiple families which has included housework, laundry, cooking meals, and basic pet care.
Can multi-task as I babysat for a family with 5 kids including a newborn.

I love playing outside, reading books, and encouraging imaginative play. My favorite is finding what their favorite things are and bringing books or crafts that encourage that interest.

I do not have direct experience; however, I have cared for several kids who have had speech, occupational, or physical therapists and worked alongside therapists to implement strategies to help the child grow.

I love the little moments when I see them find joy in the simple things like in a dandelion, some bubbles, or a book I brought that has their favorite trucks.
