More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I volunteered at a preschool carnival, where I helped supervise young children and assisted with games and activities. I supported teachers by guiding children through stations, encouraging participation, and helping ensure a safe and fun environment. This experience strengthened my patience, communication skills, and ability to work responsibly with young children in a busy setting.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy spending time with children by organizing fun indoor and outdoor activities. Indoors, I like doing arts and crafts such as drawing, coloring, painting, and simple DIY projects, as well as reading stories and playing board games or puzzles. Outdoors, I enjoy activities like playing tag, running games, ball games, sidewalk chalk, and supervised playground time. I focus on keeping children engaged, active, and safe while having fun.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where children feel valued and cared for. Building trust, showing patience, and encouraging their growth and curiosity are what make the role meaningful and rewarding.
My experience with special needs children...
I do not have previous experience working directly with children with special needs, but I am open, patient, and eager to learn. I am willing to follow instructions, adapt to individual needs, and provide a safe, supportive, and caring environment. I approach every child with understanding, kindness, and respect.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my most memorable moments was helping a toddler take their first steps while cheering them on, and hearing them say my name for the first time—it was such a joyful and rewarding experience.

Part-Time Child Care Provider Available in Evanston, IL: Kassidy G.
Hi there! My name is Kass. I'm 26, and I've worked with children professionally in many capacities (as an outdoor educator, summer camp director, nanny, and elementary school educational aide). I have been CPR and First Aid certified in the past; my certification is currently expired, but I'd be happy to get it renewed. I'm looking to be an after school nanny for kiddos ages 5 and up. I'm comfortable working with multiple kids and with pets in the house, and I'm happy to do light housekeeping/meal prep as needed (I'm actively ServSafe food manager certified for safe meal preparation). I'm also happy to help with babysitting on weekends as needed, too! I do not have a driver's license, but would be happy to walk kids home from school or their bus stop. Let me know if you're interested in learning more!

Babysitter Available in Evanston, IL: Sianna W.
Working with children has strengthened my passion for becoming a teacher. As an Inclusion Aide, I worked closely with a camper with ADHD while supporting a group of 15–20 children. Through daily activities, field trips, and one-on-one support, I learned the importance of patience, adaptability, and building trusting relationships with young people. There were times when my camper became overwhelmed, and I would help them step away from the group, use calming strategies, and successfully return to activities. Seeing children grow in confidence, develop new skills, and feel included in their environment has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life and has reinforced my commitment to working in education.

Babysitter Available in Evanston, IL: Olivia B.
I'm from New York City, and I'm a first-year student Northwestern University. I have a strong background in childcare from a variety of roles. I’ve babysat for more than six families around New York City, including doing school pick-ups, safely bringing kids home, helping with homework, and acting as a mother’s helper with playtime and meals. I’ve worked as a swim instructor leading small-group lessons for young children, volunteered with Friendship Circle supporting kids with special needs, and served as an assistant teacher at Temple Shaaray Tefila. These experiences have made me comfortable, confident, and reliable when caring for children in different settings.
Babysitter Available in Evanston, IL: Lilian P.
Hi! My name is Lilian, I am 20 years old. Caring for children has been at the center of my life from a young age. My mom opened a daycare in our home when I was 3, so I grew up learning how to create a space where children feel safe, seen, and supported. I began babysitting at 13 and have spent the last several years working in daycare settings, strengthening my passion for helping children grow.
As a caregiver, I prioritize each child’s emotional well-being. I focus on building trust so they feel understood and comfortable expressing themselves. I love helping kids navigate big feelings and discover confidence in their own voices.
Growing up in a daycare environment taught me patience, empathy, and how to connect with children of all ages. I bring warmth, creativity, and a calming presence, whether I’m encouraging imaginative play, guiding activities, or offering support during tough moments. I would be honored to bring my skills in to your home to support you and your little ones!
