I volunteer at my local elementary and middle school frequently! I've worked as a cadet teacher in both a 3rd and 6th-grade classroom, and have minimal experience in K-12 classrooms through my education program. I have also worked at various day camps over the past 2 summers.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important part is obviously being safe, but having fun! My fondest memories from when I was a kid was when my babysitters would come and we would just have a blast together.

Right now, I am in an intro to disabilities class, and have worked with autistic, hard of hearing and deaf students, and students with down syndrome in the past. I know basic finger spelling, as well as basic signs in American Sign Language
The most important part about being a nanny...
One time, I was making cookies with a little boy I was babysitting and he got flour all over his head! It made for a wonderful memory and a long bath!
