It’s important to build strong trust with both the child and the parents by being reliable, responsible, and communicative. Being patient and understanding helps you handle different situations calmly while also guiding children positively. A great nanny also encourages learning and creativity through fun activities, helps children build confidence and good habits, and always puts their well-being first.

I've been around them my whole life, my cousins have Down syndrome, and my uncle has spescial needs and i know how to coop with stems and movement medicatiocn etc.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was when I helped a child learn something new and saw how proud and excited they were afterward. Whether it was finishing a puzzle, learning to read a new word, or trying a new activity, it was really rewarding to be part of that moment. Seeing their confidence grow and knowing I helped create a positive, fun experience is what makes working with kids so special to me.
