A little bit about me

my name is Hayley! i enjoy working with kids a lot! I started taking family child care classes when i was in 8th grade and took them the rest of my years in high school. as well as my high school year i worked with special needs kids but they were the same age as me. I am great with kids and I love learning about how there mind set is and the way the imagine and play when they are young is very creative. I was a nanny threw the beginning of summer until about a couple weeks in when the kids started school. i quit because i decided i was gonna go to school, but realized what i was gonna go to school for wasnt what i wanted. i then worked in a day care, i loved working there but again i had to make a hard decision and leave with the fact i wasn't getting paid enough. I have a daughter who is two , she is my biggest blessing (: I am available some weekends but it’s definitely something that needs to be planned out so I can work with my parents to watch my daughter for me.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a nanny for two years for a family in SLC , I was in the preschool program for 2 years in high school, I also worked at a day care for about 4 months.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I think depending on the age group and what each child is into is going to depend. But some ideas are drawing on paper , drawing with chalk , basketball , tag , dancing , tea parties , card games .. etc

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think a nanny is someone of course who is going to need to be stern on the rules of the parents , but I think everyone always needs fun in their life. I like being able to be a reliant for the kids I nanny , someone they can talk to or trust is going to help them when they need it ! Pick them up when they are down

When I was a nanny for 4 girls and one of the girls I watched has Cerebral palsy

The most important part about being a nanny...

I enjoyed a lot when we would go to the zoo or lagoon because each kid was interested in different animals and I liked being able to listen to them each talk about their favorite animals
