Currently I have only had the experience of helping my friend's and family members with their children, although we go over limited educational activities and work books it has been in an at-home setting.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Depending on the weather I greatly enjoy both indoors and out doors activities. Including but not limited too walks around the block and to the park, swimming, educational experiments,, co- creating challenges with the kids, arts/ crafts, sports, and so much more. The important bit of information I have learned is that each and every parent have different structures and schedules in place. I enjoy following said structure especially when meeting new kids to help both the kids and I to become more comfortable with each other.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My most accomplished and favorite moments has been children's resilience, I love communicating with kids when they get frustrated, hurt, or mad and talking the feelings out. Mornings, change and the slightest things can upset some kids listening and integrating happy ways to solve some of those problems bring me joy.
