HI! I am a Behavior Specialist and have been working with children ages birth to 21 years for the past 20 years. I am also an Executive Chef and Johnson and Whales graduate. I am fun, energetic, and will care for your children, pets, and home as if they were my own. I currently work for the Bradley School in Providence, RI with children ages 13 to 16 with severe emotional and educational disabilities. I have also worked for East Bay Community Action Program/ Head Start with children ages 3 to 5. I have worked with infants and toddlers as well.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have over 20 years of experience working with children ages birth to 21 years. I have worked in day care centers and both public and private schools. I am currently a behavior therapist at Bradley in Providence, RI. Prior to coming to Bradley, I was an Associate Teacher for EBCAP and worked with children ages 3 to 5 years in a pre k classroom. I am also an Executive Chef so meal prepand snacks will never be a problem.I am happy to provide a copy of my resume.

The most important part about being a nanny...

To work with any child, one needs to be fun, energetic, selfless, and present. To be a really good nanny, I think you need paitence and the ability to think like a parent...what would I want someone to do for MY child and then act on it. Children need love and consistency within all interactions and a good nanny should be able to provide those things easily.

My experience with special needs children...

80% of my career has been centered around working with children with various needs. I am currently a behavior therapist working with children ages 13 to 16 who needs are both educational, emotional, and behavioral.
