"I am almost 75 and I have chronic physical health issues stemming from a serious car accident several years ago. The car insurance was paying for Heather to come and take care of me for almost 2 years. Her responsibilities included cleaning, cooking, helping me get out of bed and into my wheelchair, changing my catheter, assistance in bathing, and helping me combat panic attacks. She no longer works for me because the catastrophic law changed in June (the reason why everyone got a refund from their car insurance). Heather is extremely reliable. She was always early. I could always count on her to be there. Now that I think about it, I don't think she called out a single time. She is extremely caring. She always encouraged me to have fun and get out and go to events in the community. She always showed extreme patience with me and my memory loss. I miss her a great deal. She felt like family to me. But, my loss is your gain! Whichever family she chooses will be very lucky"
