That the children are not only protected and nourished, but they are having fun and feeling as they are seen. These children spend a significant amount of time with their nannies so they should feel that they are loved as much as their parents love them. They should feel that they matter as much in a nanny's life as we do in theirs.
My experience with special needs children...
As a student teacher, I predominately have worked with students with learning disabilities and students with behavioral disabilities such as ADHD. Within my time as an assistant teacher I also worked with young children on the spectrum.
