Since the age of 8 I have watched over my baby cousins since they came out of the womb. My aunt needed help and I was really good with the babies so I would help whenever I could, even spend the night over her house multiple days. I’m 18 now and currently she had a 3 year old and I’ve been helping basically raise him since he was a week old. Waking up in the middle of the night, feeding him, bathing him, changing him, etc. I even help with kids around her neighborhood.

Playing outside, painting, watching movies, baking (if they’re old enough), video games. For the younger ones watching their baby shows with them, practicing their colors, shapes, their motor skills in a fun way, playing outside as previously stated before or anything they would want to do.

The most important part about being a nanny for me is to make the children feel loved. I know I’m not their mom but to make sure they feel loved by me, cared for by me, feel like they could tell me if something was bothering them, if they want me to play with them, etc I would want them to know I would be willing to make them happy just like their actual parents would.
