My experience with special needs children...
I took a peer class in high school which is surrounded by children with special needs. I advocated for them and helped them with their school work as needed. I assisted them with the cafeteria and maintaing the proper rules in the cafeteria. Became someone they looked up to and came to for advice or just to cry and listen. I learned when my nephew was younger that he was on the spectrum and I wanted to do all I could to help children with his same disability’s so with working with my nephew and all the children/young adults in high school I formed a big love for children in need.
