A little bit about me

My Name is Helen Grandy, and I'm a 28 year old Sacramento native. I started babysitting at the young age of 13, and have been working with children ever since. I have years of experience nannying for various families, working at summer camps, and teaching children.

I am now an art teacher and third grade assistant at a private school in Sacramento, where I have been working for 3 years. I taught a hybrid classroom for an entire year during the COVID pandemic, and have TONS of hands-on experience with children of all ages, and different walks of life.

Along with my passion of teaching art to children, I am an experienced yoga teacher. I use the tools yoga has taught me to help kids stay calm, and solve problems with mindfulness and love. I would love to find a down-to-earth family (or a small group of children) that needs full-time childcare during the school year. I am also available to teach full, private art lessons (at a slightly higher rate).
