A little bit about me

Hello,
I have over 23 years experience in childcare.
I am considered to be very creative, (a trained Musician and tutor), responsible, reliable, capable, sensible, dependable, trustworthy, imaginative, interesting, helpful, engaging, skilful, knowledgable, experienced, & extremely useful & adaptable. I am looking to help families in surrounding areas to Woodland Hills. I have musical instruments, a pool & beautiful gardens at my house which I can use to teach children music skills/appreciation and swimming/diving (though not at the same time!) ;) It would be my pleasure to assist you to prepare your children for adulthood. My own children went on to attend U Chicago (Degree in Chemistry) and CSUN (Kinesiology). I can come to you or you can drop your children at my house/pool or I can pick them up from school/camp or drive them on adventures around LA. I do hope to have the pleasure of being your go to friend in Woodland Hills whenever you need a helping hand. Best wishes Hélène

"Hélène is kind, hardworking, loving and caring. She has decades of experience caring for children and music composition. The most important part about being a nanny...

Helping families to thrive, grow and succeed together. Being a nanny is not just about the children. It's about helping the parents to relax and allowing them to have peace of mind and more free time to have fun with their children and build strong bonds together.
Giving parents help with their children or being able to step in and do chores / work so that the parents can play with the kids is an important part of nannying... anticipating when & where help is needed, being thoughtful, considerate and adaptable at all times. Being part of the team that works towards building the success of every family member. Families that play together stay together! The Nanny can be a safe, trusted & reliable pair of hands to help give the parents extra strength to hold their families together on a day to day basis and especially in times of trouble. To be able to lean on the resourcefulness of a professional nanny provides immediate & long lasting returns on your investment from cradle to college.

My experience with special needs children...

Helping friends with relatives with special needs, including ADHD, Anorexia, children who are on the spectrum, Bi-polar, Downs Syndrome.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Playing with kids and introducing them to my little dog Blu. He's always a huge hit with children of ALL ages. He's so sweet, loving and calming. He loves being petted and is the perfect pet!

I have a strong foundation in childcare built through hands-on experience in both volunteer and school settings. I previously volunteered in my church’s children’s ministry, where I supported group activities, guided learning, and helped create a positive, nurturing environment for kids of all ages. I also worked as a Teacher’s Assistant at an elementary school, assisting with classroom management, developing age‑appropriate activities, and helping students stay engaged and supported throughout the day. These roles strengthened my creativity, patience, and ability to connect with children, making me a capable and reliable fit for families seeking high quality care.

Juliette S. - Seeking Work in Los Angeles

Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in Los Angeles, CA: Juliette S.

I was a dancer for as long as I can remember until I was introduced to All Star Cheerleading. I was a very energetic and some might say sassy kid and that sometimes became a problem in ballet class, so the high level training, energy and excitement that the cheer world gave to me was something I had never felt before. Not too long after I joined cheer I also became a coach. I knew I loved working with kids already and fell in love with the sport so it was the best of both worlds for me. I coached competition teams, recreational programs, our special needs teams and summer cheer camps for 5 years for kids between the ages of 2-12 years old. I was also a camp counsellor and supervisor for my town's spring break and summer camps for 3 years. Overall I have found my favorite jobs i've had over the many years i've been working have been those with kids and I am excited to find a family In California that will trust me to be a mentor and friend to their little ones:)
Katherine R. - Seeking Work in Los Angeles

Live-In Full-Time Nanny Available in Los Angeles, CA: Katherine R.

Hi! My name is Kat, and I am a college student currently pursuing a degree in Chicano Studies. Alongside my studies, I have a diverse range of interests, including massage therapy, midwifery, and various aspects of childcare.

I am a very loving person. Music-loving, animal-loving, coffee-loving, adventurous, and empathetic person. When working with children, I prioritize intention and mindfulness over a loud and sometimes overstimulating approach.

I am seeking a nanny position to find consistency and to bring my skills to a family, growing together with them. I have a true passion for working with kids and look forward to providing a nurturing and supportive environment for children.
