My name is Hermella, I am 26 years old and I’ve been caring for children in my community since high school. I started as a volunteer, then moved into paid summer positions supporting kids of different ages and personalities, and I continued babysitting consistently throughout college. I earned my bachelor’s degree with a focus on Human Development and Family Science, a master’s degree in Crisis Management, and I am currently pursuing my MBA through Baylor University.
In addition to childcare, I’ve served as a Program Director at a senior living community in memory care, where I designed all the activity programs and personally led crafts classes, simple history lessons, and a variety of engaging sessions to keep residents mentally and socially active.
