I have several years of hands-on experience caring for children through helping at my mom’s at-home daycare, which she successfully ran for seven years. During that time, I regularly assisted with supervising and engaging with children of many different ages, helping with daily routines, activities, and creating a safe and supportive environment for them. Being around kids has always come naturally to me, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with them. I also have experience caring for my siblings’ children, which has strengthened my patience, responsibility, and ability to connect with kids. Children have always had a special place in my heart, and I love being someone they can feel comfortable, safe, and happy around. 😊

The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, nurturing, and trusting environment where children feel supported and cared for. A good nanny helps children grow emotionally, socially, and intellectually by being patient, attentive, and engaged in their daily activities. Building a strong bond with the children while also communicating well with the parents is key to making sure the children feel secure, happy, and encouraged to learn and develop.

One of my favorite nanny moments was helping a child I cared for overcome their shyness during playtime. At first they were very quiet and didn’t want to join activities, so I spent time reading with them and doing simple arts and crafts together to help them feel comfortable. Over time, they started opening up, laughing more, and eventually joining the other kids in games. Seeing their confidence grow and knowing I helped create a safe and happy space for them was really rewarding
