A little bit about me

Hi! I’m Hollie, I will be moving from Minnesota to California in October 2019. With moving comes job changes I just finished my first year of college where I am working to obtain a degree in nursing. Currently I am a PCA (personal care attendant) and want to stay in a job where I am caring for someone! I love kids and have 3 nephews all under the age of 5 which I do watch frequently as well as I do have a background with nannying. I have my basic life support certification through the American Red Cross. As a PCA I not only care for people of all ages and some with disabilities, I also do some cleaning, cooking, and errands! A Monday through Friday would be ideal but, I am flexible as I’m relocating to be closer to my boyfriend who is active military!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I grew up in a big family and I do have nephews babysitting has always been a part of my regular life.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoying swimming, playing sports, being outside in general, coloring/art. I use to play in band and was a dancer playing music/ dancing is always an option to pass time. Activities such as carnivals or bowling are also always an option. I like to read and sometimes you just need to have those movie days and to build a fort.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is being able to connect with the family and child/ children. No 2 days will be a like but, it is important to make every day memorable and enjoyable for everyone.

My experience with special needs children...

I am currently a PCA and work with a 10 year old boy who has autism and a few other health problems. I was also a nanny when I was a little younger to 3 girls one of which would had social anxiety and behavioral problems.
