More About Me

My primary experience is in child care centers. I have been a toddler teacher for many years, often referred to as the "toddler whisperer." I also have plenty of experience working in the infant and preschool classrooms as well though.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love incorporating the arts into my daily activities; crafts, music, dancing, etc. are all very important to me. Experiences are also something I greatly value; in the summer months, we will spend lots of time outside in nature! In the winter, I like to take children to museums, play centers, and libraries.
My experience with special needs children...
I currently care for a child with special needs- specifically, dyspraxia. I attend his weekly therapy appointments with the parents to keep up with where he's at developmentally, and to learn what I can do with him throughout the day to support his development. I have also cared for many autistic children in daycare.
