I was a daycare teacher for about a year before I had my first kid and then again when my oldest started school and the other two would go to work with me. I babysat when I was in high school and worked part time with kids when I became a mom.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I'm an outdoors person as long as the weather is okay. If I'm not outside so the kids can play, I'm inside l doing some arts and crafts, playing learning games or occasionally watch a Disney movie.
My experience with special needs children...
I have personal experience working with kids who are autistic, have down syndrome and wheelchair bound. I treat them just like they are normal. They are special in their own way and I'll make that they are comfortable doing whatever it is they have set to do that do.
