More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I spent several years caring for my little brother, who is 8 years younger tan me. I had the pleasure of taking care of two beautiful children, 10 month old & 4 year old, for about a year before they moved. I really enjoyed being a part of their beautiful family and watching their children learn and grow. I also had the wonderful opportunity to care for a newborn for about 6 months. First time mom needed lots of help while dad was working as a long haul truck driver.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Creative indoor activities such as coloring, painting and motor skill improvement activities. I also enjoy teaching sports, swimming and taking kids to the park.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe the most important part of being a nanny is making sure the child, or children, and parents have full confidence and trust in my care. I also want to create a fun and creative environment for children to learn and grow in.

My experience with special needs children...

I had a regular babysitting job caring for a young man named Carter who was bound to a wheelchair. He was 9 when I was his babysitter and I was responsible for diaper changes and routine care. The most important part of caring for a child with special needs is making them feel comfortable in their own skin.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Watching children grow and learn and knowing that I took part in teaching them and taking care of them is my favorite part of being a babysitter and a potential nanny.
