More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’ve worked as a Preschool Teacher for 6 years where I created a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young learners, supporting their growth in academics, social emotional development, and self efficacy.
I was also a Family Service Advocate for Youth Dynamics where I worked one-on-one with children and teens, supporting mental and emotional health goals. My role included mentoring, behavioral support, activity planning, and family collaboration to help each child thrive in and out of the home. I’ve been a Youth Soccer Coach for three seasons, where I coached kids aged 4–10 in community soccer.
I come from a large, lively family where I’ve always been surrounded by little ones—from toddlers to teens. I’ve helped with my nieces, nephews, cousins, etc.— juggling meals, homework, playtime, and hard moments with patience, heart, and humor. It taught me adaptability, empathy, and a deep understanding of kids’ unique needs.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love being outdoors—whether it’s playing soccer, basketball, tag, going on walks or bike rides. I’m creative at heart and enjoy doing crafts, painting, reading aloud, dancing around to music, or cooking simple, fun snacks together. I bring positive energy, but I also know how important quiet time is—like reading cozy stories, practicing mindfulness, or just sitting together in calm.
That said, one of my favorite parts of working with children is learning their world. Every child has unique routines, comforts, and curiosities, and I believe in following their lead just as much as I guide. Whether it’s dinosaurs, dress-up, building with blocks, or talking about feelings, I love discovering what lights them up or brings them peace. Creating a space where children feel safe to express themselves and explore their passions is at the heart of how I care.

The most important part about being a nanny...
Being fully present, truly listening, and nurturing the curiosity that lives inside each child. I meet kids exactly where they are and honor who they are!
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience working with children with autism, down syndrome, sensory and auditory sensitivity, ADHD, and learning delays through my time at Youth Dynamics as well as the daycare and preschool settings, where I supported kids with emotional and behavioral needs.
The most important part about being a nanny...
There’s almost too many to mention—when a kid faces something hard or new and is able to build skills, resiliency and confidence within themselves the look they get, the “I did that” look is something that brings happy to my heart always.
I’d also have to say when I was teeter-tottering with my students and almost knocked myself out on the darn thing. We were all laughing hysterically, but I’m not kidding when I say I had a golf ball on my forehead for about two weeks.
