More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I used to work extensively with special education students between middle and high school levels on social skills, basic math and english, and organizational skills.
I also have experience with history/social studies tutoring for elementary and middle school students that I provided for a local trailer park community in the office on-site.
Babysitting experience was across 2 families in my hometown, one family having 2 girls in middle school and high school, and one family having 3 children between pre-school and high school ages.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I prefer to find activities rather than throw them on the iPad! Let’s do a puzzle, make some art, or find cool things out on a walk! I prefer to keep tasks rather local to the home, but less online as to not have to worry about internet safety concerns.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Keeping children safe, cared for, happy, and entertained.
My experience with special needs children...
I have cared for children with Duchenne’s Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Down Syndrome, and Epilepsy.

Full-Time Nanny Available in Chicago, IL: Hannah K.
Hello, I'm Hannah, a licensed teacher turned nanny. After getting my degree in Psychology with a focus on child development and a master's in elementary education, I taught for 6 years in early childhood classrooms and recently transitioned into nannying. I would describe myself as patient, caring, and creative when working with children. I use a child-centered, play-based approached with children to help them meet developmental milestones through play and their interests. I also use the Conscious Discipline approach to support social-emotional growth. I have a collection of children's books and I love bringing new books to read!
I am certified in CPR/first aid, safe sleep, food safety, and medication administration. I have experience with food allergies.
