Hi families! 😊 My name is I’Yanna, and I’m an experienced career nanny looking for a wonderful family to join long-term.

I have 4 years of experience as a nanny, 2 years as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), and STEM teacher. I also have experience as a CNA. I’ve cared for infants, toddlers, school-aged children, twins, elder and children with special needs while creating safe, fun, and engaging environments.

I’m CPR & First Aid Certified, a non-smoker, have reliable transportation, and a clean driving record. I’m experienced with routines, potty training, meal prep, cooking , naps, bedtime, school schedules, outings, parent and household support.

I’ve cared for children through private nannying, babysitting, and as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Also at a STEM academy in Greensboro NC as the lead 6-8 age group teacher. My experience includes caring for infants, toddlers, and school-aged children, preparing meals and bottles, diaper changes, nap and bedtime routines, potty training, helping with homework, planning fun and educational activities, and providing compassionate care for children with special needs. I always strive to create a safe, loving, and engaging environment where children can learn, play, and feel comfortable !

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy planning a mix of creative, educational, and active experiences for children, including arts and crafts, sensory play, reading, outdoor adventures, educational games, STEM activities, imaginative play, and movement-based fun. Every activity I do is tailored to each child’s developmental stage, personality, and interests. I love getting to know what each child enjoys and building on those interests while also introducing new experiences that encourage learning, confidence, and creativity. With parents’ permission, I’m also happy and love to plan fun outings!

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me, the most important part of being a nanny is building a genuine connection with the children and family and earning their trust. I want children to feel safe, loved, understood, and free to be themselves, while parents feel supported and confident knowing they have someone dependable by their side. I believe in being present, engaged, and attentive to the little things that help a household run smoothly, from keeping routines on track to caring for the children and their home. I love watching children grow, gain confidence, and discover new things, while also being a reliable support system for parents. Nannying is something I truly enjoy and take pride in, and I hope to become someone a family can trust, count on, value and feel completely comfortable and having as part of their lives

I have professional experience working with children with special needs as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), primarily supporting children with autism. I’ve helped with communication, emotional regulation, daily routines, and building independence using patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement. I believe every child is unique, and I strive to provide care that helps them feel safe, supported, and confident !!

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was with a little at Discovery Cove and Disney. Watching their face as we saw all the fish and flamingos , laughing when we went into the lazy river and big pool, then seeing the Disney characters and light show with pure amazement and big eyes 😂Seeing them experience everything for the first time was so special and funny. Seeing their excitement, curiosity, and just pure joy made my heart so happy and reminded me why I love working with children
