One of my favorite moments was when I was nannying for a nurse. One day when it was time to do homework, a 7yo girl told me that her “sugar blood” (blood sugar) was low, and she was too tired to do anything. All I could do was laugh. I gave her a small snack to help her “sugar blood” and we eventually got back to homework.
