I am a mother and grandmother and would have also worked with kids in schools. Lectured to kids in my neighborhood and took care of my cousins and nieces, along with one of my niece 10 years of age who has special needs.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Reading, writing, playing games, talking to them, dancing, pampering them, showing them love and watching the relevant kids shows with them. I also take pride in making meals and feeding them, making videos of what they do during the course of the day. Singing lullabies and just being there for them at all times. Paying special attention to them as their safety is priority and ensuring that they are happy and always kept clean.
The most important part about being a nanny...
That parents can go to work without worrying about their kids, knowing that they are in capable hands. Taking care of kids like I took care of my own, showering them with love, care and attention. Ensuring that they are always clean, well fed and always chatting with them. Even though some kids are babies, they do understand when you speak to them. Children learn from what they hear and see. It is always good to instill the right things from the tender age because the brain at that age is like a sponge.

Behavioral Issues, dealing with a child that is 8 but due to her issues and challenges she talks, acts and behaves as a 5-year-old This is where patience, experience, knowledge, love and understanding plays an important part in the child's development and upbringing.
