I feel it's crucial to understand that the natural development of a child comes with challenges, but all can be overcome when you connect with them in a way that allows them to be seen, heard, and understood. We older humans are no different from children, in that we have emotional responses to things, we crave attention and affection, and we seek to do things that bring us joy. Being able to see eye to eye with children is important to me as a nanny.
