The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important thing about me as a nanny is that I genuinely care about the children and families I work with. I strive to create a safe, nurturing, and positive environment where children feel loved, respected, and encouraged to grow. I believe in building trust with both children and parents through open communication, patience, consistency, and reliability. My goal is for parents to feel confident that their children are not only well cared for, but also happy, engaged, and supported while in my care.

My experience with special needs children...

I have over 3 years of experience working with children with special needs through my role as a Special Education Classroom Assistant with **Chicago Public Schools**. I support students with a variety of learning, behavioral, communication, and emotional needs in both classroom and one-on-one settings.

My experience includes helping students with daily routines, social-emotional regulation, academic support, behavior management, communication skills, and building independence. I work closely with teachers, therapists, and families to create a positive, structured, and supportive environment where every child can succeed.

I am patient, calm under pressure, and committed to meeting each child where they are while helping them grow in confidence, skills, and independence. I believe every child deserves to feel safe, understood, and valued.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite memories are the little moments when a child learns something new, reaches a goal they thought was impossible, or simply feels proud of themselves. Seeing children grow in confidence and knowing I helped create a safe and supportive environment for them is the most rewarding part of working with kids. ❤️

Babysitter Available in Chicago, IL: Grace R.

Hi! My name is Grace, I’m 21 years old and from Ireland, currently looking for babysitting work. I have several years of hands-on childcare experience, including regularly babysitting for a family with six children, which has given me lots of experience managing different ages, personalities, and busy routines!
Growing up in a family-owned restaurant run by my father, I’ve always been around families and children, so creating a warm and positive environment comes naturally to me. I’m responsible, energetic, and very comfortable keeping children entertained while also making sure they feel cared for.
